The weather in Kyoto started to clear up the day we left, so we decided to stay there a bit longer and arrive in Nagoya late in the evening. Nagoya station is quite large, though the station itself is just the lower two floors of the building. The tower on the left side is a Marriott hotel and I’m not sure what the tower on the right is. The station building was filled with shops and restaurants, including the up-scale Takashima department store which took up the first eight floors of the building.
