One of my favourite dishes to have in Japan is a margherita pizza. We were looking for a place to eat, then we came across the familiar Italian Tomato Cafe Jr. and we knew that their margherita pizza would hit the spot! I don’t know what it is about this pizza recipe. It’s certainly not as scrumptious as a Pizza Pizza pizza, but somehow I really enjoy having these when I’m in Japan. Even when we got back to Vancouver, one of the restaurants there had it on the menu and it made me smile (though it didn’t look as yummy as these).
