I wanted to visit Tokyo U because it’s the main backdrop for a Japanese TV show called “Love Hina,” which I thoroughly enjoyed. (I have the entire series on DVD.) I suppose it’s no more special than the U of T campus would be to someone who’s grown up in Toronto, but for me it was a treat to see the building and to feel that much closer to the story.
