National Race Weekend in Ottawa
I made a trip to Ottawa during the last weekend of May 2005. A friend of mine was participating in the National Race Weekend’s Half-Marathon, and I offered to fly to Ottawa for moral support and to take photos of her first big event. While I won’t be posting those photos to the gallery, I have included other photos of the race as well as a bunch of photos of the city.
Ottawa was great for taking photos. There are a lot of scenic parks, historic buildings, museums, and since it’s the nation’s capital, there’s always something going on. I wanted to take a lot more photos, but my feet were just too tired from all the walking I did.
