In September 2005, I made my first trip to London, England. I took all my camera gear with me but unfortunately, I never got around to taking that many photos. I took some of these photos in the beginning of the trip by walking around Downtown London, but I made the mistake of taking every lens I own with me that day. It was completely exhausting and I also found it a bit boring to spend my time looking for picturesque subjects, so I packed my camera away for the rest of the trip.
I really like the first photo of the National History Museum — it’s one of my favourite photos ever! The perspective is excellent and the colours are rich, and the building looks so majestic. The photo has been compressed for the Web so it’s not as vibrant as the original, but it still looks good. I wish more of my photos turned out like that!
