Pinky’s mom and I both have our birthdays in March, so for our birthday gifts, Pinky gave us airline tickets to NYC! The three of us went in the first week of May 2007 and spent four days in The Big Apple. It was the first time I had ever been there too. Our hotel was near Central Park and the location was great because Broadway, Times Square and shopping along Fifth Avenue were all just a few blocks away.
Even though four days doesn’t seem long, we saw all the sights we wanted to see. I should have taken more photos though because there’s lots we did that I don’t have photos of, like catching “Les Misérables” on Broadway starring Lea Salonga, who Pinky and I also met after the show.
